Below is what will be included in this Xr650l HP mod when selecting all option checkboxes above…
- Completely assembled, ready to install carburetor.
- New adaptor boots for an easy install.
- Tuned for each order. (IMPORTANT: Please include in the order notes on the checkout page info such as elevation, bike mods, mileage & riding style.)
- Upgraded float bowl (for the fuel flow at any angle that the bike is leaned: whips, wheelies, off-roading, etc.).
- Correct needle (allows for a smooth power band and the ability to pull endos without stalling the engine).
- Black Neoprene Keihin hoses (these last 3 times as long as the Keihin Pink stock hoses).
- Note that this carb will still run great without any upgrade options selected, with a gain of 12% power over the stock option. When all upgrade options are selected, there is an additional 10% increase in overall power with perfect throttle response.
- This is also a reverse linkage accelerator pump, so the pump twists as fast as the throttle does.

Before I bought the carburetor Boston answered all my questions about the part and installation. He preps it to make it straight bolt on and it brought my XR650L to life.

The carb install was easy , bike fired right up . May have turned up idle a hair. Other than that performance gain is night and day over re jetted CV carb. Mileage decrease a tad. My XR 675l with a mega cycle cam ,ported head runs like a top.

I ordered the carb with tuning, new throttle cable and throttle body. After the parts shipped I received package super fast! The parts went on the bike (xr650l) with little effort. Boston did a good job with the carb. All I had to do was adjust air fuel mix and idle after the bike warmed up. It really is a different animal with this carb.

I don’t know why I wasted my time with tinkering with the OEM carburetor! MX41, there is no substitute! No more flat spots or bogging. Idles perfectly with no stuttering. Way more power through the entire rpm range. Runs perfect! Also, Honda TRX450R Parts called me to inquire about my riding style in order to properly JET the carburetor, making it perform to top efficiency.
