KYB Fork SSS Built for the 1991 KTM 250 and its Rider:
This 1991 KTM 250 SSS Fork Kit can be customized for each rider: For a new option click above!
These Spring forks are supplied from factory leftovers to save riders the $2700 new price, yet do stock brand new and can be further enhanced with Fork Coatings and Colors or even a personal setup built by a KYB technician or Graeme Brough himself! (See options above)
Not everyone needs a cone valve or A kit to go fast, so think of this kit as an option to safely go fast, as some forks are not up to today’s riders’ needs. Well, this is by far the most forgiving fork made with its speed-sensitive system that is unmatched and used by over half the top supercross and motocross pros. If Showa, owned by Honda and WP, didn’t pay their riders so much, they would be on these as well, as the (noncontract) best free riders do. Note: Chase Sexton, who rides for KTM Factory with unlimited budgets, is running these forks, which WP KTM does not make, so that shows ya how good these are. The 52mm cone valves are cool, yet they don’t have it dialed as this 20-year proven design does! Send in ur shock to have our pro-Greame Brough tune it to our liking just like he did for Bubba steward Axel Hodges & Ricky Carmichael, to name a few!If one’s still not sold, we also have $10,000+ A and cost-effective B-Kit options from Showa & Wp.
Once purchased, we cannot cancel, as this is a custom-built labor item built for each order!

Used KYB Kit vs. New SSS Front Forks Option:
1. Refurbished Front Suspension Option
A used or rebuilt product is a Fully Functional Product for a discounted price. With those savings, please expect scrapes and scratches.
2. New SSS Forks Option
Did you know OEM Forks are up to $5000 and hard to get? Here’s a great option for replacing an outdated or discontinued Suspension part #
The 2019 video below shows two bikes we have used for the last four years with the KYB SSS fork kit we offer. We’ve been running these forks since they came out in 2005, and now that they are four generations old, they keep improving!
The Drz400sm comes with a Showa fork that’s good yet late 90s tech, and the Husky 501 WP forks are just not there yet. We think they will be in 3-5 years. The WP of KTM will have something that matches the KYB Speed Sensitive system.
My favorite saying to the next generation: “Ya can’t get any better of a rider in the hospital, ” so spend a little to keep your riding mistake savable!

Kade –
I think the Husky is the best bike for my use but the air forks are not ok with changes in temperature. I know the guys on the top of the podium are still using this style of KYB forks so I went with this kit to upgrade to the best suspension, brakes and even went to an 18mm offset clamp for the supercross track we have here in AUS. Really happy with the result, personally trusting my steed is worth any amount.
