A-kit dirt Bike shocks vs. B-kit dirt bike suspension:
1. A-kit suspension:
With A-kit shocks costing upwards of $7500.00, this is what we call blank-check performance needs, yet B-kits can offer the same performance when built right!
2. B-kit shocks:
Using the A-Kit style body and all of the internals and coatings of a Kit without the low-production billet CNC Parts, KYB, Showa, and WP are able to offer a realistic price.
The photos show a 98 KTM with a current 18mm shaft WP shock, A custom-built Built Electric bike back in 2015, a Showa 50mm body on a DRZ400SM, a WP complete shock swap on a Dr650, and a 02 YZ250 with a current swingarm, and larger rear KYB shock to show that last 20 years of fun we’ve personally owned with shock upgrades.
The video shows the Owner, Boston Morse, in March 2024, still enjoying the ride and testing products after 20 years of racing.

Brent –
bent my shaft on my stock shock they tossed on a 18mm shaft on this kit and its takes the sends!

For supercross, ya need an 18mm shaft. This is what I cared about, not coatings and looks. We did just that with the easy sag spring adaptor and the triple adjusters on my 24 yz450. Now I’m ready to race!
Casey –
My cr250 shock was not rebuildable as most of the parts were discontinued. OEM save my build with a killer KYB upgrade. stoked on the look and performance!
