That’s right. No matter what the manufacturer’s warranty policy is, OEM Dirt Bike Parts has your back with our own 30-day replacement warranty policy!
IF YOUR PART IS DEFECTIVE YOU HAVE 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE YOUR RECEIVE YOUR ORDER TO REQUEST A REPLACEMENT. HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
- Submit a support ticket by going to the Support Portal https://oemdirtbikeparts.com/support/ and logging in (if not already logged-in).
- Your support ticket must reference the specific order # containing your defective part.
- Your support ticket must clearly explain the specific defect. We highly suggest that you ALSO submit photos of the defective part that show it is defective. You can attach up to 4 photos to your support ticket.
- We will review your support ticket and respond to you with next steps, which may require you to return the part to us.
Please note that if we determine that the part is defective, we will send a replacement — there is no option to automatically receive a refund. However, if we cannot find a suitable replacement we will refund the purchase price of the defective part.
If your part is defective and you’re past our 30-day warranty period, you still might be covered by the manufacturer. Refer to the manufacturer’s warranty policy, or contact us via the Support Portal for help reaching out to the manufacturer for repair or replacement under their own policy.
If your part is NOT defective, or if it has been more than 30 days from the date when you received your order, please read the following…
NO RETURNS/NO CANCELLATION:
We are a boutique seller of parts that are often “unobtainable”, difficult to find, or no longer manufactured. The parts we sell are special-ordered, customized or modified to fit your specific bike. Please be patient as this takes time: it may take several weeks to get your order shipped.
When you purchase from us, you are hiring us to obtain and modify a part just for you. Buying from us is like hiring a painter to paint your bedroom walls — you tell the painter what you want, you agree to the paint color and the cost, the painter does the work, and you pay… if you don’t like the results, sorry, you are NOT entitled to a refund! This is why WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR PROVIDE REFUNDS, AND YOU CANNOT CANCEL YOUR ORDER.
We require you to provide as much information as possible about your bike — make, model, year, and any mods — when you place your order so we can send you the right part. If you do not provide us with complete details about your bike, or if you are not sure what mods have been made to your bike, we cannot be held responsible for sending you a part that does not fit or does not meet your needs. We require clear, accurate communication from you in order to best serve you.
We mostly work with race teams, pro riders, and serious enthusiasts… we are here to help solve problems and improve your riding experience. We’ve been in business for over 15 years and have helped thousands of riders.
But if you are a first-time rider or new to the sport, please understand that this sport is expensive and we may not be the best retail option for you. We try to make this expensive sport a little less expensive by offering some high-end parts in refurbished, perfectly working condition. For example, a $5,000 part sold refurbished for $1,500 that can be very easily resold on eBay or Craigslist.
If you are concerned about our NO RETURN/NO CANCELLATION policy, or you want to try out parts before returning them for a refund, then please DO NOT order from us. We suggest you consider buying from eBay or other retailers instead of from us. If you do buy from us and you need your money back, we encourage you to sell your part on eBay or Craigslist. Once again, we do not accept returns, provide refunds, or process order cancellations.
However, we may be able to make an exception to our NO RETURN/NO CANCELLATION policy on a case-by-case basis — just reach out to us via the Support Portal and explain the situation. We cannot guarantee we will be able to accept your return and give you a partial refund.
Restocking Fees
IF we CAN accept your return request or cancel your order, your part/order will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Your “partial refund” would be the purchase price minus this 50% restocking fee. Why do we charge a restocking fee? Remember, most of the parts we sell are special-ordered and/or modified for YOUR bike, making them harder for us to resell!
If we accept your return request, in order to get a partial refund on items we have already shipped to you, the products must be returned to us in the state they were shipped:

- New items must be returned in their original packaging and in new, unused condition. If you cannot return your item to us in unused condition, we suggest you resell the item on eBay or Craigslist.

- Used items must be returned without additional wear and usage, in perfect working condition, and in the packaging in which they were shipped. If you cannot return the item as required, we suggest you resell it on eBay or Craigslist.

- You are responsible for the shipping cost to return the merchandise to us. All shipments must be prepaid and we will not accept COD shipments. For international returns, you are responsible for any brokerage or customs charges, so we recommend you use a carrier that does not levy brokerage fees and be sure to mark the shipment as a “Merchandise Return”. We recommend that you insure your shipment since returned items arriving to us in a damaged state will be rejected. If your return is refused for any reason, it is subject to a $10 service fee.

- Do NOT ship the merchandise to the manufacturer! Ship your return to us using the Return Instructions below.

- We usually process returns within 2 business days of receiving the return shipment from you. However, in certain cases, it may take longer.
Refunds
If we will provide you with a refund, your refund will be issued in the form of your original payment. For example, if you used a credit card for your purchase, your refund will be credited back to the card you used. Note that refunds issued to credit or debit cards can take up to 10 business days for the card issuer to process and reflect on your card balance.
Damaged Items
If your order arrived damaged, let us know ASAP. Take pictures of the damaged item and keep all original shipping packages/containers. You can handle the claim for the damaged item with the shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, OnTrac). If you need help, contact us via the Support Portal.
Return Instructions
If you need to return merchandise to us, please follow these steps:

(2) Please ship your merchandise in a shipping box or use the original shipping container.
(3) Do not ship items in the manufacturer’s packaging, as it will get damaged and we will reject the return. Instead, always use a larger shipping container/box to ship your merchandise, and include sufficient padding in the shipping container so the contents do not shift around and become damaged in transit.
Be sure to keep the tracking information for the return and give us the tracking information through the Support Portal in your original support ticket.
